As part of a series of activities aiming to welcome the new school year 2020-2021 and create a playground, solidarity, exchange and help each other in all areas of skills and learning activities. The contest is a bridge to exchange, marking beautiful moments for students and lecturers of the Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. The contested photo works will be moments of living, studying, researching… with photo angles taken at NTTU or with the NTTU logo.
I. ORGANIZATIONAL TIME AND FORM:
1. Time to receive entries:
From July 27 to August 27, 2020
2. Organizational form:
The contest is held in an online form on the official fan page of the Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering (ENFO).
II. PARTICIPANTS:
All NTTU students, alumni, collectives (branches, clubs, …) at all NTTU campuses.
III. CONTEST RULES:
1. Contest content:
– Participants submit at least 01 still photo, taken by the contestant (scenes, moments, people, activities at Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering, Nguyen Tat Thanh University – NTTU).
– Image quality: minimum 1800 pixels for the long side of the image, no more than 15Mb, image file format .jpeg or .jpg
– Photos are named to reflect the content and include a short description (no more than 250 words)
– Photo must be taken with the person with the number of no more than 06 people in the photo
– The photo is clearly stated the shooting location, the time taken
– Each contest photo cannot be merged from many different photos
– New contest images, not copied in any form
– Contest entries have not been published in the mass media, ensuring honesty, image copyright
– The content shows the meaningful purpose of the contest
2. How to join:
– Entries should be emailed to the Organizing Committee: hoathucpham@ntt.edu.vn
– Email subject set according to the syntax: Photo contest_Full name_Student number
Email content includes:
+ Full name of the candidate (if it is a group, write the name of the group)
+ Class, course, major, speciality
+ Contact phone number (if it is a group, write the phone number of the representative)
3. Regulations on voting, scoring, and awarding:
3.1. Time and method of voting:
3.1.1. Voting time:
From the time the contestant’s photo was posted on the fan page of the Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering until August 27, 2020.
3.1.2. Voting method:
– Step 1: Like the fan page of the Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering
– Step 2: Like the photo contest album “ENFO PHOTO CONTEST 2020”
– Step 3: Comment and tag 3 friends (who are not contestants) in the comment section below the contest photo
– Step 4: Like/react and share the contest photo
Note:
+ Shares are scored only when the contestant sets it to public
+ Do not use hacking methods, use virtual Facebook in the selection process
+ Cases of image copyright infringement will be removed from the contest
+ Contestants are fully responsible for related issues when being complained about copyright of works
3.2. Judging criteria and scoring method
+ Points are calculated based on the votes of viewers on the fan page: 1 like = 1 point, 1 comment = 2 points, 1 share = 3 points (unlimited number of likes, shares, comments).
+ BTC selects the best photos by calculating points based on the number of likes, comments, and shares. The results are calculated according to the total score, ranked from high to low to award prizes.
+ In case the works have the same score, the organizer will decide the order of winning based on the message, image quality, and other meanings suitable to the contest theme.
4. Prize structure
Contestants participating in the online photo contest “ENFO PHOTO CONTEST 2020” will have the opportunity to receive many valuable gifts from the contest organizers with the prize structure as follows:
– 01 first prize:
- Cash: 1,000,000 VND
- 01 gift
– 01 second prize:
- Cash: 800,000 VND
- 01 gift
– 01 third prize:
- Cash: 500,000 VND
- 01 gift
– 05 consolation prizes (judge award, message award, value award, inspiration award, idea award):
- Cash: 300,000 VND
- 01 gift
The award distribution date will be held in September 2020. The winning photos will be printed in large format and exhibited during “The 3rd Student Research Workshop” of the Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering to be held on October 1, 2020. Award winners will attend an outdoor training session with professional photographers.
